”A
Brother is a man committed to living the
Consecrated Life in response to a call
from God. Brothers are engaged in a variety
of ministries in keeping with the charism
of their congregation and model the person
of Jesus through the relational manner
in which they serve.”

 |
The
Presentation Brothers devote their lives
to the Christian formation of young people;
we live in community for mutual support
and encouragement. Some Brothers are teachers
but others are engaged in pastoral, social
and missionary work. |

 |
There
are Presentation communities in the United
States, Canada, Grenada, St. Lucia, Ireland,
England and Ghana. This site represents
the Presentation Brothers of North America
and the West Indies.
Life
Commitment.
The Brothers see their lives as a three-fold
dedication:
|
 |
 |
- a
life-long search for God,
- bringing
the Good News to the poor and marginalized,
- supporting,
encouraging and loving their Brothers
in community.
|
 |
 |
Living
together in community, Brothers support
and help one another and give witness to
the transferring power of the love of Jesus.
Though all members of a community do not
necessarily share the same likes and dislikes,
the enabling power of God helps them to
rise above nature and to love one another
as He loves us. |

Various
Services.
In North America and the West Indies, the
Presentation Brothers are engaged in various
ministries. These include parish work, high
school chaplaincy, teaching, and working
directly with poor and marginalized youth.

Prayer
Life.
Our life is not meant to be one of constant
action. We are first and foremost called
to draw closer to Jesus. To this end, all
of our communities have regular times of
daily prayer and strive to attend Mass daily.

 |
 |
Communities.
Our communities in North America and the
West Indies are located in Toronto, Ontario,
Kissimmee, Florida, St. Georges, Grenada,
and two communities in St. Lucia: Vigie
and Entrepot, both located in the Castries
area.
